1. The information we collect

We may collect and process the following personal data:

1.1 Information you send us directly.

This information includes, in particular, the following personal data:

The data required to register for the service we provide on our site. This data includes your first and last name, date of birth, e-mail address and a password. This information is mandatory. Otherwise, Resilient Water Club will not be able to provide you with the services offered and you will not be authorized to create an account on our site;

Your postal address;

Your responses to our emails, your feedback on startups, your investment intentions;

1.2 Data we collect automatically

1.3 How long we keep your data

1.3.1. With the exception of the categories of personal data referred to in articles 1.3.2. and 1.3.3. below, your personal data is archived at the end of the following periods:

5 years after your last use of our site, if you have not closed your account;

1 year after you close your account, unless you have received a report, in which case your personal data is kept for 2 years following the last report received if this period is longer.

1.3.2. Financial data (e.g. payments, refunds, etc.) will be retained for the length of time required by applicable tax and accounting laws.

1.3.3. In the event that your account has been suspended or blocked, we will retain your personal data for a period ranging from 2 to 10 years from the date of suspension in order to prevent any circumvention on your part of the rules in force on our site.

1.3.4. Personal data relating to a prospect, who is not a customer, may be kept for a period of 3 years from the date of collection or last contact from the prospect.

At the end of this 3-year period, we may contact you again to find out whether you wish to continue receiving commercial solicitations.

2. How do we use your personal data that we collect?

3. Where do we store your personal data?

As a general rule, we store personal data in our database located in France (at OVH), this is particularly the case for your information provided at registration and your activity on our site.

However, insofar as, for example, some of our service providers (in particular: Mailchimp for emailing campaigns, Fintecture, SWAN, Swipe, or LemonWay for online payment) are located in countries outside the European Union (“third countries”), we transfer some of the personal data to third countries.

This may in particular be the case to third countries for which the European Commission has not issued an “adequate protection” decision. In such a case, we ensure that this transfer is carried out in compliance with the applicable regulations and guarantees a sufficient level of protection for the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals (in particular through the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
